Top 10 Movies

*CAUTION - WHAT I SAY MAY NOT BE YOUR PERSONAL FAVOURITES - WATCH AND HOPEFULLY ENJOY THE FILMS BUT YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE SAME TASTES AS I HAVE*

This is a hard thing to start with. With all of the genres of movies it is hard to come up with a definative top 10. Within my friends I am the person who will get the most hardcore and violent films, mainly for the lads, so we can watch them. I may love to watch action and comedy films, and these are the ones i mainly get to keep up a reputation, but I also watch varying other movies such as some disney films or pixar films.

Getting to the top 10:
10) Shaun of the Dead (2004)  < 7.0/10  >
*SPOILER*
A fantastically funny film starring the British comedy duet of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Directed by the brilliant Edgar Wright. Taking place in London, England where a misfortuned Simon Pegg wants to make things right with his ex, Kate Ashfield, it turns out that he is caught in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, where he and a group of his friends need to do anything to survive. None stop laughs and some heartbreak at the end, this has to go on my top 10.

9) The Expendables (2010)  < 7.2/10 >

Never before have so many action stars combine into a single movie. All of the big names of the ages, Stallone, Statham, Lundgren, Li, and UFC Light-Heavyweight and Heavyweight champion Randy Couture. This group of men come together to form a division of mercs that are unstoppabble. When they get asked to take care of a mission in Suth America, they find that the dictator that they have been sent to take care of isn't the only person that is that they should be worried about. Comic lover, Aaron Johnson, decides to take the plunge into being that superhero. He finds that it isn't as easy as he thought and when Nicholas Cage and Chloe Mortez show up and mean business, he questions himself and his beliefs. Gory action comedy that will be making you laugh and be saying "ouch" throughout.

6) Enter the Dragon (1973)  < 8.1/10 >
*SPOILER*
The last of the films with Bruce Lee and definitly one of the most rememberable. Lee is sent to an island in Honk Kong where he is to take part in a fighting tournement and uncover the sinister plot behind the crime lord, thought to be selling opoium. Lee is high flying and is just an all around badass. Shows how much of an expert he was in fighting with an awsome fight with the henchmenas he is snooping around at night. Thourghly enjoyable, not for the acting but just to see a master do what he does best.

Based on the novel with the same title, some adapthations have been made so don't go into it expectiong it to be a perfect representation of the book.A great love film that shows Cera to be someone sensitive and not be pinned to just do comedy.

The late Heath Ledger takes the role of the master criminal in a bid to destroy what batman holds most dear to him. 1) Scott Pilgrim vs The World (2010)  < 9.8/10 >
*SPOILER*
22 (23) year old Scott Pilgrim, Michael Cera, is currently bouncing back from a big break up with his now famous ex-girlfriend Envy. His new girlfriend is a 17 year old chinease schoolgirl and they have a good relationship, that is until a new girl shows up in Toronto, Ramona Flowers, Mary Elizabeth Winstead. He instantly falls for her and they start to date. This is when Scott finds out forcefully thet he has to defeat Ramona's seven evil exen in order for them to continue to date. This starts a chain reaction of Ramona's ex's trying to kill Scott. He prevails over the competitors until the final evil ex, Gideon, Jason Schwartzman. Based off of the 6 volume comic book series Scott Pilgrim and directed by Edgar Wright the live action comedy. The film has very close relationship to the books, nearly all bits have been taken out of the book and it is filmed in the same locations and the book. There are some elements that have been changed and the back story has been missed. I recomend that you watch and read both of the material sources to get the maximum enjoyment out of the series.
